Gig promoting

I started promoting gigs at 16 when my sixth-form band organised a gig for ourselves at Washington Arts Centre.

The gig sold out. I've been involved in Do It Yourself music and grassroots music scenes ever since, as a performer and a gig organiser.

In 2023, I started a festival - Marrapalooza - that intends to bring bands from around the country to the North East to celebrate and bring together the DIY touring scene that I've performed as part of for many years.

I've also produced and programmed events on behalf of Durham Brass Festival, The World Transformed, Narc magazine among others.
